He began his career specialising in the placement and management of North American delegated authorities (property and casualty) and direct open market business. Over time, he expanded his expertise to include both proportional and non-proportional reinsurance across multiple classes and international jurisdictions.

Andrew has in-depth knowledge of delegated authority management and processing, with extensive experience across both the Lloyd’s and company markets.

For the past 18 years, he has held board-level roles at Lloyd’s brokers, where he has led and trained technical teams, advised on bespoke placement strategies, supported Appointed Representatives in accessing markets, and streamlined operational workflows. He continues to play an active role in delegated authority processing, open market business, and reinsurance management and placement.
